On my way to bed tonight I noticed Daddy fish laying on the bottom of the bowl. It has happened. He died. The bad thing is I just gave him new water tonight so I feel I am to blame for his sudden death. I do feel horrible.
Now we have the death talk with Toby in the morning....

Don't feel bad! These things happen. It will be sad to talk to Toby, though for sure. Ever since our fish showed up, I check several times a day with this sinking dread to see if Friend is still swimming. You will do a great job in this situation as you always do! You're a great mom!
Oh no that is horrible. I hope Tom's doesn't die I really dont want to have that talk with him ;-)
